Our three-day sailing route connects two locations that are under the protection of UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. These are Trogir and Hvar. Both locations are extremely well connected to further continue your adventure through Croatia’s natural and cultural heritage. On our sailing route is the forested island of Šolta where we anchor in hidden coves. The island of Vis is an island of great historical heritage where we will visit both towns, Vis and Komiža. Also there is a small island of Biševo with a worldwide attraction Blue Cave, and the South Shore of Vis with its sandy beaches is often rated among the top ten beaches in the world. These are small hidden beaches.

Connecting starting and destination points

Trogir and Hvar are very well connected with other centers. 5 kilometers from Trogir is the Split International Airport (IATA: SPU-ICAO: LDRI). Hvar is connected by fast catamaran lines every day with Split, Korčula and Dubrovnik.

Saturday
Boarding at the quay in Hvar at 12:00, sailing to Vis. Tour of Paklinski Islands. Overnight in Vis. Dinner in a restaurant of your choice in Vis. Overnight anchored in the bay.

Sunday
Breakfast and sailing out to Komiža. A tour of little coves and beaches sailing by the southern coast of the island of Vis. Swimming and sunbathing. Lunch. Reaching Komiža and going to dinner in a restaurant of a choice. Spending the night in Komiža bay.

Monday
Early in the morning departure to Biševo, guests can stay in the cabins until we reach the Blue Cave and get breakfast in the cabin, if desired, and if sailing conditions allow. Tour of the Blue Cave. Sailing to the island of Šolta. Overnight anchored in a bay on the island of Šolta. Precise selection of the bay depends on the wind and travel plans for the following day, dinner on the yacht, and possible night sailing.

Wednesday
12:00 departure from SCT Marina Trogir to reach the island of Šolta. Spending the day on the island, swimming and relaxing. Precise selection of the bay depends on the wind and travel plans for the following day, dinner on the yacht, and possible night sailing.

Thursday
Breakfast and sailing to the island of Vis reaching Komiža. Exploring the town. Lunch. Swimming and sunbathing. A dinner in a restaurant of a choice. Overnight in the bay.

Friday
Early in the morning departure to Biševo, guests can stay in the cabins until we reach the Blue Cave and get breakfast in the cabin, if desired, and if sailing conditions allow. Tour of the Blue Cave. Tour of the beaches on the south coast of Vis, overnight in Vis. Dinner in a restaurant of your choice in Vis.

Saturday
Breakfast and sailing to Hvar. Disembarking at the quay in Hvar at 12:00.

If the whole yacht is rented for 4-7 guests it is possible to move the timetable for a day earlier staring from Trogir, i.e. one day later from Hvar. Therefore, it is possible depart from Trogir on Tuesday and disembark in Hvar on Friday or board in Hvar on Sunday and disembark in Trogir on Wednesday.

Accommodation

Guests are accommodated on a yacht in three cabins, while the crew has their own cabin. All cabins have their own toilet and bathroom. In all cabins the standing height is 2 meters.

It is possible to rent a cabin or the whole yacht. Cabins can be rented for 1-3 persons, and a yacht for 4-7 persons.

Menu

The offer includes breakfast and daily meals for three days and one dinner. We have a standard menu but we love to adapt to the particular wishes of our guests. We use fresh groccerys and it is quite normal for us to make you a steak in a green pepper sauce or serve you a cheese cake with champagne for breakfast.

Since it is a sporty luxury adventure, we arrange a daily rhythm of sailing, swimming, tours and meals.

In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests have at their disposal a variaty of fruit, snacks, tea, cakes, coffee, bottled water, juices, top quality wine and beer.

Sailing is fun, but sailing is also a sport and it is a special feeling when you are sailing on a yacht that is more powerful than other yachts in your local waters.

 

 

Bogey 1 is also a special boat in that the deck was built in such a way that the space with the sailing equipment is completely separated from the space with the table, i.e. around the deck lounge there are no rope nor winches, so it is possible for someone to just enjoy sailing without participation in maneuvers without bother anyone or being bothered in enjoyment.

We often use the big sails for sailing downwind, gennaker and spinnaker, which others rarely do. We also organize night sailing. Night sailing has a special dimension. This is something quite different from daily sailing. I have not heard of others offering such a service. If weather conditions are right we might go for a light night sailing with a gennaker, while guests are enjoying dinner on the deck.

Package with such an offer is not made for money, in fact there is no such offer anywhere, it can only be done by people who love what they do.

Yacht Bogey 1 is a sport, luxury and artistic heritage at the same time. Architect of the yacht is the world’s greatest miracle worker of great sporting sailing boats, New Zealander Bruce Farr, whose yachts have won the most trophies in the race around the world, the Volvo Ocean Race, while the design is a masterpiece study by Pinninfarina. Interior of the yacht has two colors of two kinds of wood, mahogany and Finnish birch which gives the yacht a warm and bright atmosphere.

All this is further supplemented with bedding, carpets, utensils and paintings which together form a conceptual art installation.

Cruising on a luxury yacht Bogey 1, besides being a combination of sports, entertainment and art, is guided by imagination and a love of sailing, and is a serious project that needs to meet all its obligations towards guests and other partners on time.
